I know this is cheating, but

I had to go ahead and say, while I was thinking about it, that the poem I quoted in my first blog (two months ago) was not original to my mom. I looked it up, and it is actually Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, from A Psalm of Life. The rest of the poem is really cool, too.

It's been almost 2 months since my last . . .

blog. I finally got everyone's blog addresses copied over, and boy was that a chore. Since Cincha dogged me, I figured I'd better get cracking with this blog thing. I have to say I haven't been as consistent the past couple of weeks as I'd been before, but am trying to remedy that. Not easy with my ability to rationalize reasons not to do things (my true spiritual gift is to rationalize), but I'm trying. My knee has been hurting this week, really because I haven't run enough. Oddly enough, it hurts when I don't run, so I guess I should run. I did run this morning, and usually the knee pain goes away early on, but it stuck with me today. Maybe next run it will be better.

My current goals are to run more consistently, and blog again within the month. Have a great night.
