A body at rest . . .

of course it stays at rest. My body has been resting since Sunday, so when it got dragged, kicking and screaming, out to run this morning, it whined loudly. I've been off rehabbing my knee, and it's much better. I did my entire run this morning with very little knee pain (a twinge here and there, but nothing to yelp about). It was the rest of me that whined. I've lost the speed I'd gained over the past few weeks (sorry Cincha), but hopefully I can find it again at some point. At least I'm able to run, that's all I care about at this point. My inability to run/XT this week has really taken a toll on my fitness level. Who'd have thought it would plummet so quickly, but take heed. You can get it back, too. That's what I'm going to do -- get it back. May take another week, but I'll do it. Now the goal is to take care and not hurt my knee again.

You can do it! I took 2 weeks off to nurse an injury and it did take a good week to get back up to speed, but it happened. Be patient and rejoice in your pain free run this AM.

Pam, you will be running faster than most of us when you are hurting. Glad you are feeling better...cg

Quit whining. Be a man. "Rub some dirt in it." (What movie's that from?) Seriously, I'm glad you're better. See ya tomorrow.
